Senior Automation Test Engineer

DUTIES: Drive direction of the development and maintenance of an automation framework that emphasizes flexibility, usability, and reduced maintenance.  Create and maintain automation scripts for new and existing test cases.  Execute, debug, and maintain automated tests and validate the results.  Clearly document problems found during testing and document test results.  Store scripts and other deliverables in the testing repository.  Install and configure test systems.  Estimate work effort and determine delivery schedules.  Mentor team members in best practices regarding development of test automation suites.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of 6 years of prior professional work experience or, in the alternative, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of 4 years of prior professional work experience.  Prior professional work experience as a Software Programmer or Test Automation Engineer with experience using Java/C#/Selenium/HP UFT and framework development.  Must have good understanding of the testing discipline as it applies to the Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
